discover fort myers beach

Make this your upcoming travel destination and book a resort at this flawless seaside getaway.

Today you won't find many bootleggers, or really a cove. Instead you will be immersed in miles of white crystal sand and kissed by the sun on the cove's beachfront view. While vacationing, be sure to enjoy a nice BBQ by the pool, or play a game of shuffleboard. Rain or shine, our Tiki Huts have you covered for any outdoor lounging. If your clothes need a dry, that's okay as we have an on-site laundromat for your convenience.

Smugglers Cove is perfectly situated on the center of Estero Island with about 3 miles from both, the north and south side exists. The immediate area graciously offers several options such as fine dining, boat rentals, and shopping all within walking distance. You will also be surprised to find grocery options, churches, and a library that each offer a uniqueness that captures the island life. Be sure to take advantage of the distance, grab a cocktail, take a walk, and enjoy the sunset. At Smugglers Cove, Estero Island becomes your home and so much more.

First settled by the Calusa Indians and now home to the famous beach town Fort Myers Beach. Just a short 5 minute drive north from Smugglers, will land you at the historic heart of the island - Times Square. During the day be sure to investigate the area's rich history at the mound house, take on a guided beach tour at Newton Park, or traverse the other parks offered on Estero Island.

By heading north and just beyond the overpass is the gateway to Fort Myers. Here you will find entry to the beautiful islands of Sanibel and Captiva, the home of Thomas Edison, and the Fort Myers River District. Prior to exiting the island off the south, you will locate the Santini Marina Plaza, home to many shops, dining options, and events. If you stop by on a Tuesday or Thursday, you will stumble upon a unique Farmer's Market. Just beyond the market is the nationally recognized Lover's Key State Park, offering pristine beaches, outdoor activities, and amenities. Otherwise, further south is the City of Naples, Florida. Stayed for a week with my husband and two daughters and had an amazing time! The condo is perfect! Clean, updated, great pool, with everything you could want or need! Great memories made, the location is amazing and we even got to see four dolphins playing in the gulf from the deck!! Would love to stay again!!

We love Fort Myers Beach and have been coming here for the last 10 years. We have on stayed on both ends of Estero and in all types of places. We love to run on the beach, walk to Happy Hour, ride bikes to get up and down the boulevard. It really is a great, central, QUIET location away from the busier areas, but close enough to join the fun when desired.

Very friendly people in the buildings, both visitors and residents. Good location between Publix and CVS, near some good restaurants as well, (Charley’s, Pinchers). Excellent beach, pleasant pool, great for families with young children.
